From the Alzheimer’s Association website www.alz.org
|In addition to funding research, the Alzheimer’s Association is an excellent source of information and support. Their website contains a wealth of information such as the following comparison chart between signs of Alzheimer’s and signs of typical age-related changes, 10 signs of Alzheimers and other useful diagnostic and support related resources. If you believe you have a loved one that is struggling with Alzheimer’s or dementia, please visit their website at www.alz.org to get more information or sign up for their weekly newsletter.
We are active participants in raising funds for the Alzheimer’s Association. In addition, we are approved and accept Alzheimer’s vouchers for non-medical in-home care for eligible Alzheimer’s patients.
Our caregivers are trained to provide care for patients with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. In addition, we work with facilities in the area who offer Memory Care and we can assist you in placement if in-home care is not the best option. If you know someone who needs in-home care or placement assistance in a Memory Care community, please contact Charlene Richardson at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at (803) 403-1895.
